Every summer, the delightful booksellers at Three Avenues Bookshop in Lakeview host a fun and varied Summer Reading Challenge. At the close of the challenge (and the summer) they hold their End of Summer Bash. The event is an opportunity for challengers to claim their prizes and for the whole community to get together, celebrate their love of reading, AND meet local authors!
I'll be there from 1-3pm chatting and signing copies of An Epic History of Failure. Come through, say hi, get some free ice cream, support the Back-to-School Book Drive and pick up your next few reads!
When: Sunday, Aug. 30 from 1-6 pm
Where: Three Avenues Bookshop
3009 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60657
What: A one-day celebration to bring the community together, have a good time, and promote literacy!
Who: Anyone in the community! All ages welcome.
