Chicago is a town known for music, theatre, and comedy...we just thought there ought to be a place for all three.
Comedian Cabaret is an opportunity for Chicago's stellar improvisers and comedians to show off another passion and skill set. Produced and hosted by myself and Andrew Baldwin (Second City Tour Co, Baby Wants Candy, etc), this is a cabaret where comedians get to let out their inner Broadway star.
A perfect blend of silly bits and Broadway glitz, each month we choose a different theme and dozens of our city's finest comedians submit for the opportunity to sing their little musical-theatre-loving hearts out with us. Some themes are straightforward, others are up for artist interpretation, but all of them embrace sincere or silly performances alike.
The show is currently produced at The Annoyance Theatre & Bar (851 W. Belmont Ave, Floor 2)
